Jeremiah Wright speaking live now.
Fascinating.
You can also get it live streaming from CNN
ALL of this CRAP is nothing mroe than a means to assist in the paving of the highway to Reparations if HUSSEIN Obama is elected!
Gadzooks, sw! No the bunnies! Now we'll get them... against us eating their chocolate brothers for Easter!
I'm late to the thread, as I watched the Reverend Wright speak at the NAACP. Wow. I have been shocked beyond belief this last month or so at the hate that exists, a hate that I thought had gone (for the most part) by the wayside. I have never discriminated in my life, and I (foolishly) believed that when I treated others with respect, that I got respect in turn. Truth is, I was often mocked. Mocked with a smile, a Hello. Inside, some of those people hated me, simply because I am white.
If it is wrong and a sin to hate only because someone has black skin, is it not also a wrong and a sin to hate only because someone has white skin? This is being taught to kids in CHURCH. Good Lord.
Sorry for the rant, I simply know now that I have been stupid, thinking that in the year 2008, we, as a society have progressed. I don't see it now.

Cone developed a black theology of liberation from oppression, racism, and poverty and independently of the work of Gustavo Gutiérrez. Cone argued that the white church and white theologians had all failed in their duties to uphold biblical principles of helping the poor and marginalized of society. Indeed, Christians had become actively complicit in making the lives of others worse.
Because of this, it was no longer acceptable to leave the interpretation of the Bible to white Christians. Blacks must take responsibility for their own religion and their own relationship with God. Black liberation theology has a great deal in common with the Black Power movement that also developed in the 1960s. In his book Black Theology and Black Power, Cone writes:
A moral or theological appeal based on a white definition of morality or theology will serve as a detriment to our attainment of black freedom. The only option we blacks have is to fight in every way possible, so that we can create a definition of freedom based on our own history and culture. We must not expect white people to give us freedom. Freedom is not a gift, but a responsibility, and thus must be taken against the will of those who hold us in bondage.
Every single pundit on both Fox and CNN are clearly for Wright and Obama. I thought Wright sounded like a nutjob, but the salespitch by the national media will influence some to take a sudden liking to this lunatic.
Get past the color of his skin and Wright is just an opportunistic jerk playing on old fears.
Thanks Dinah, me too!!! : )
What in the world is wrong with her? I can’t believe what I’m hearing......
I'm sure his brain works just fine; it's his soul that I'm worried about.
The so called, “Reverend Wright” = JIVE TURKEY
He reminded me of Moms Mabley on crack.
HEADS UP ALL- Wright is ALSO going to speak tomorrow at the National Press Club @ 8:30 AM

BARACK OBAMA, JOHN MCCAIN
McCain, Up To Speed on the Latest Wright Sermons (U.S. Is Same as al-Qaeda, etc.)
The Obama campaign contends that John McCain has “ broken his word to the American people and rendered hollow his promise of a respectful campaign” ... and apparently by his did this by agreeing with Barack Obama that Jeremiah Wright is a legitimate issue.
The statement that got Team Obama so riled up?
“Senator Obama himself says it’s a legitimate political issue, so I would imagine that many other people will share that view and it will be in the arena,” McCain said at a news conference. “But my position that Senator Obama doesn’t share those views remains the same.”
Apparently the Obama campaign expected John McCain to argue with Obama that his relationship with Wright wasn’t a legitimate issue.
Also, note that McCain... okay, more likely somebody on his campaign... reads the Campaign Spot and/or listens to Hugh Hewitt, because McCain is now quoting the recently-discovered new recordings of Wright’s sermons.
I saw yesterday some additional comments that have been revealed by Pastor Wright, one of them comparing the United States Marine Corps with Roman Legionnaires who were responsible for the death of our Savior, I mean being involved in that. Its beyond belief. And then of course saying that Al Qaeda and the American flag were the same flags. So I can understand, I can understand why people are upset about this. I can understand why Americans, when viewing these kinds of comments, are angry and upset. Just like they view Senator Obamas statements about why people turn to their faith and their values. He believes that its out of economic concerns. We all know its out of a fundamental belief, a fundamental faith in this country and its values and its principles. Again, Senator Obama, out of touch. I cant control, and will not in future, control. I will voice my opinion. And I will continue to say that I think that ad should not be run. But I wont continue to try to be the referee here.
Heh.
By the way, if I were on the North Carolina GOP, I would re-edit that controversial ad to include the audio of Wright declaring, “what we are doing is the same thing al-Qaeda is doing under a different color flag.” If video of this sermon is not available, I would just use a photo of Wright North Carolinians already know who he is by now.
Good news for Team Obama... Jeremiah Wright speaks at the National Press Club Monday morning at 8:30 a.m., and I’m sure during his appearance Wright will clear all this up.

Oprah should be offended.
OTOH, they are young enough to be reeducated so they are an opportunity. Older people like myself are simply disposable, to be run over. LOL (Not THAT old)
Yes it was humorous to the black people in the audience. Just like his ridin' dirty, US of KKKa, GD America and Hillary ain't ever been called a Ni___r sermons were humorous to his church members.
More North Carolina GOP fodder. Don’t ya just love it?
LOL! I think my 2nd Mountain Dew may keep me awake and on FR til morning...
Liberation Theology has moved from the poor peasants in South America to the poor blacks in America. We now have Black Liberation Theology being preached in the black community. It is the same Marxist, revolutionary, humanistic philosophy found in South American Liberation Theology and has no more claim for a scriptural basis than the South American model has.
False doctrine is still false, no matter how it is dressed up or what fancy name is attached to it. In the same way that revolutionary fervor was stirred up in South America, Liberation Theology is now trying to stir up revolutionary fervor among Blacks in America.
If the church in America recognizes the falseness of Black Liberation Theology as the Catholic Church did in the South American model, Black Liberation Theology will suffer the same fate that the South America Liberation Theology did, namely it will be seen to be the false doctrine of a humanist viewpoint dressed up in theological terms.

Well, there are all colors and flavors of liberation theology. It’s not really a religion at all, it’s a Marxist praxis. There is even an Islamic liberation theology.
They don’t believe in sin as we know it, either. Morality is all relative to how much suffering you’ve done, as a race. The only real sin for an “oppressed person” is not to fight back against capitalist power. (speak truth to power)
All his little slogans can be directly connected to the Marxist writings of the Liberation Theologians.
