Melissa Etheridge was mad at Hillary at the gay forum last year. She said that the gay community felt that the Clinton administration didn’t do enough on gay issues after showing such promise. Hillary said that don’t ask don’t tell was the best policy they could come up with. And Hillary said that the Defense of Marriage Act was needed to stop effort towards a constitutional amendment on marriage.
So, maybe Melissa hasn’t forgiven the Clintons for not pushing more for gay issues when they were president before.
