"Possessing an excessive carbon footprint," as Michael Specter put it in last week's New Yorker, "is rapidly becoming the modern equivalent of wearing the scarlet letter."

Unless you are a wealthy left-wing environmental crusader.

My family in Canada:

TOTAL FOOTPRINT 7.5
IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 4.2 PLANETS.

My family in Israel:

TOTAL FOOTPRINT 3.8
IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 2.1 PLANETS.

My family in Russia:

TOTAL FOOTPRINT 8.7
IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 4.8 PLANETS.

Note: "footprint" measurements outside of the US are given in metric hectares instead of acres.

My "number of planets" changed, as well.

The “Number of Planets” is also where I have a problem with this test.

I know, for a FACT that I need 2 planets myself. I have my eye on Mars and maybe a 14,000,000 car garage on Saturnian moon, Iapetus.

We drink bottled water all the time because our well water is sulphur (or hard iron). And we have a water softener which has a lot of sodium that I can’t have because of dialysis. Nothing like a good cold glass of water, huh? Bottled or NOT.

Ahhh...but they purchase carbon credits from third world people that live in mud huts and don’t need the credits. What a crock- if they were really sincere the guy living in the hut not using his “credits” would get the money. Instead they form shell game companies and keep the money and the huge energy sucking house. The fact that there are actually people out there that swallow this BS proves that there is no limit to stupidity.

I was walking with Al Gore on the beach and I looked back and only saw one set of carbon footprints. I asked Al Gore how this was so and he told me that was because mine were the only carbon foot prints that mattered.
