There is no basis in international law for this unilateral declaration of independence.

No basis for unilateral declaration of independence? Well, we might as well pull down the stars and stripes and start flying the union jack again.. Cmon guys, regardless of some problems that might pose from Kosovo independence, if they wish to be a free soverign entity, it is their right of self determination we are stepping on if we don't allow it.. Might as well flush our own Declaration of Independence down the toilet.

But Hillary would not want to admit that her husband is wrong

I have read reports that she was an architect of this disaster with Mad Halfbright.

And Bush seems to be too stupid or resigned to the situation to do anything but go along with it. In the end, it will boil down to the Kosovars, the Albanians, and the Serbs. Plus the Bosnians. Plus the Russians. Plus the Germans. Could be the basis for a world war. It’s the right region for it. What stupidity.

Yup.

Don’t forget how NATO/US came within a hair’s length of firing on Russian troops.

Not many people remember that Weasley Clark almost started World War III with Russia TWICE.

The airport incident is pretty well known. If not for the British commander refusing Clark’s order, there might have been a shooting war.

But Clark also ordered planes to bomb and sink two Russian spy ships that were eavesdropping on our operations from the Adriatic. Only a last minute countermand of his order from Washington prevented a disaster from happening.

And let’s not forget the bombing of the Chinese Embassy, which many think was deliberate.

They will recognize right after China recognizes Taiwan’s independence.

Oh. Thank you for the light bulb.

I apologize.

I come here to learn: It's obviously still too early to graduate.

"Raise your hand if you don't have a separatist in your house," Italy's leading daily, Corriere della Sera, wrote. "The domino effect is terrifying many central governments."

Bye bye southern California and some of Arizona.

In addition, European leaders are disenchanted by Kosovo's failure, in the last nine years, to build state institutions, to create a viable economy and to rein in flourishing criminal enterprises.

Most of Kosovo's leaders are former guerrilla fighters with little experience in governing; more than two-thirds of the work force is unemployed; and people are mired in poverty, despite contributions from Europe of many billions of dollars.

“three of us”

Hi, stranger! How are the goats and the kids et al? What’s new in Georgia?

You’re just having a hissy fit because this shows the Wahhabist ties to the rogue Jihadist “state of Kosovo.”

“1990s-2000s Albanian Kosovo is roughly equivalent to Neanderthal Europe.”

An insult to Neanderthals!

It amazes me how oblivious the American public was about this at the time. That could have escalated into a nuclear exchange very quickly.

'Guerrila fighters' is putting it way too mildly. These are terrorist thugs with connections to Bin Laden.

So the Kosovo “leaders” are just the bullies who steal the aid?

Why would the underdogs be rebelling? OR ARE the underdogs rebelling? Is it just the “leaders” who want to run the WHOLE show?

Georgia is thriving and so are we.

Well you all should be happy then, because when Kosovo decays, you’ll finally have your proof of have those people are Evil Incarnate. I bet they eat babies on pitchforks by the moonlight too!

Nobody’s been listening to you so far. Now you’ll finally be able to prove you were right - you should be happy today.

:-)
