I got married, for the first time, very late in life. Best thing that ever happened to me.
I pity the woman in the story. She is still lonely, it seems.

I married relatively late in life as well. I married someone that seemd very wrong for me...I was 38 and he was 58...he was semi-retired, I was still working..he was not of my faith..etc... Well, 10 years later I am still in heaven. He is the love of my life. I found my soul mate because I looked (I hate this phrase) outside the box. Here's the most important secret: I LOOKED FOR THE MAN WITH THE PERSONALITY THAT WOULD COMPLIMENT MINE...I honestly decided what were the top three most important qualities in a man for me, and I married him. It's not the top three for anyone else..but my darling husband is the perfect man for me.
What a great reminder on Valentine's Day that I married the right man for me!

I almost settled at 24.
Called it off and then didn’t get married until 31.
Married the man of my dreams.
HE may have settled though... :-)
