Even tho' helping to get the Socialists in, who will pull the rug out from under our troops will be spitting in their faces, their mission and their sacrifices?
That's clear thinking - and uber egotistic

Coalitions require unity. To get unity, the coalition must
earn it, by not doing things that aren't at least acceptable to the major factions of the coalition. If the GOP, which is a coalition of various factions, nominates a candidate for an election whose positions (or past behavior) alienates enough of the factions, then the GOP deserves to lose. The fault lies entirely with the voters who are either too stupid, or too selfish, to back candidates that unify the coalition, instead of candidates that divide it.
That's reality. Deal with it.

A vote for the lesser of the two evils is still evil. I voted for the lesser of the two evils twice and I won't do it anymore regardless of how terrible the alternative.
Egotistic? I think not. More like individualized thinking and staying true to one's convictions and beliefs rather than blindly following a particular party.
You must not think for yourself very often. It shows in your poor sentence structure.
