I will vote for McCain. He is trustworthy on national defence and on pro-life issues. He may even be trustworthy on budget issues insofar as he is not a tax and spend type, but a guy that believes in “smaller” government. That’s two, maybe three, important issues where he is better than Hillary.

Yes, because I will also be voting for Senator Lizzy Dole.

And “No” I would not be in love with doing that, but a vista of 8 yrs of Hillary is too terrible to contemplate.

I’m sorry, but how trustworthy on national defense can he be when he supports open borders? Sure, he’s better than anyone the dems have, but I question anyone who can’t see the contradiction between successfully protecting our country and allowing (encouraging) anyone and everyone to subvert the rule of law by rewarding illegal behavior.

I have no trouble voting for him for those reasons you mention. I would feel better if he would express a committment to appoint strict constructionist judges, but I'm pretty sure he would appoint judges who are vastly preferable to Clinton's. He's also clearly ethical - another difference with HRC.

Gotta disagree there. He and Russ Feingold violated the US Constitution when they wrote the CFR bill.

Trustworthy....except for that protecting-our-constitutional-rights thing. McCain-Feingold.

National defense? Trustworthy? What about the little issue of securing the border?? He had no interest in that until he got smacked down by the American people.

I'll never vote for McCain, or any other politician that supports selling out this nation's sovereignty or trampling on the rule of law: 4) Third Party.

Plus my perception of McCain is that he is an a-hole on a personal level. I don't ever reward these kinds of people.
