"I would have no problem voting for McCain over Hillary or Obama."

Ditto!

I have a big problem with voting for McCain, but if it comes down to the unthinkable choice next November and we are facing the real prospect of a Hillary or Obama presidency, I would pull an IV out of my arm at a hospital and crawl to my polling place across the 10 Freeway in heavy traffic to stop the witch or the madrassa guy.

That is correct, but it’s also doubtful that the Republican party, actually its members would nominate Hillary, so using her or any total liberal trash person is nonsensical.

Although, if Hillary were the Republican nominee, I cannot even image who would be the democrat nominee - possibly someone way left of Michael Moore? If that were the case, yes - you would have to vote for Hillary.

"...one of the three democrats will be elected - if that happens - whatever follows is your fault - 4 to 8 years of terror." Gee - Maybe it's your fault for failing to nominate the best person, not the most electable. Principle does matter to a few of us. Principle - yes, very important, but life is all about compromise in the public world, especially in the political world. But, you do know that, right? I believe that not voting destroys the principle of our republic as there is always a candidate that is a little less evil, plus now we have the internet - we can encourage our people to do the right thing, big time. So, Trinity - get with the program!

I will vote for McCain. He was 100% right about the surge. He will get my vote in SC, also.

This is what happens when we have such a crappy choice of candidates. I turn into a one issue voter.

Your hyperbole is so over the top it is becoming quite laughable. If all you can do is insultingly attack those who disagree with you then you have lost whatever credibility you had. I didn't call you a raving lunatic I said your post looked like a raving lunatic's post. There is a clear difference that apparently you are incapable of appreciating.

You did post in all caps and inflated font that anyone who has used the internet for over a month knows is considered yelling. You couldn't even be honest about that. That's why I don't like McCain. He is incapable of being honest.

McCain would make a good president, despite the fact that he’s right up there with Dole. Not that he would be my primary choice on the GOP side...

That choice would be Thompson, of course. But if given the choice, would you rather see Billary, Obamacrazy, or McCain in the White House? Think about it

YOUR LATEST: I didn’t call you a raving lunatic I said your post looked like a raving lunatic’s post.

YOUR ORIGINAL: I didn’t call you a raving lunatic I said your post looked like a raving lunatic’s post. There is a clear difference that apparently you are incapable of appreciating.

Not speaking to you and for demonstration purposes only, let me try to keep up with your superior logic in a different context. This may come in handy. How is this: Your post looked like a flaming homosexual’s post. I didn’t call you a flaming homosexual. I said your post looked like a flaming homosexual’s post.

Is that the template for how I can personally attack someone and tell him I am not personally attacking him? I think I got it. Thanks.

I don’t like McCain on many issues. The only chance that he would be somewhat palatable is if we were able to exert sufficient pressure to cause him to see the light. The best for which we could hope is to limit the damage he would do. We would have no hope of stopping the damage Hillary would do. None at all.

McCain is a stubborn, egotistical, truculent, twisted old man who has more in common with Hillary Clinton than with most Republicans.

To this ANY “pressure” could POSSIBLY be exerted against this thickhead who has a long record of stubbornness and resistance to the popular will of the American people is blowing in the wind.

We would be better served by Hillary in the White House. She would screw things up so badly that a single term for her would be assured along with a Republican recapture of both houses in the midterms.

Hopefully it will not come to that and McCain will get a second flushing down the toilette by the Republican voters.

I hope we never have to face the horrible decision. Let’s be friends. I have to get back to Hillary.

McCain wouldn’t even get elected.

His acerbic and vicious personality would assure his defeat in a general election - one of the reasons the drive by media are supporting him.

I sincerely hope he is NOT the nominee of choice. ANY of the others would get my vote - but not this backstabbing Judas.

"She would screw things up so badly that a single term for her would be assured along with a Republican recapture of both houses in the midterms."

I think that is where we would have to disagree, my friend. She is not a normal partisan. We are the VRWC. We are a danger to the republic. She will use any illegal means necessary to destroy the GOP. She will destroy members of the press and their editors if they cross her. She has and will continue to use the IRS to destroy enemies. That is the problem. She is a neo-Stalinist. As bad as Obama would be, I believe that he is at least sincere in his misguided beliefs. Hillary only cares about power. It is not about the country; it is about her and her place in history as the most powerful woman in history. She will do things others would not dare do. She will do them with impunity. No one else would dare get rid of an FCC commissioner and put her own person in power. She will. And then she will institute the fairness doctrine. She won't need Congress. She will issue executive orders as we have never before seen. This is not Jimmy Carter II that led to Reagan. This really is different.

I would much prefer to be friends with you. I also hope we aren't faced with an untenable choice but it seems like the best we have right now is fairly unpalatable.

I hope you never let up on the Beast and stay safe.

Okay. If only Duncan Hunter would have gotten press. That would have been a proud vote cast.

Oh yes. It would feel like a privilege to cast a vote for Duncan Hunter. Not that voting is a privilege but in relative terms...

McCain wouldn’t get my vote. If he gets the nomination, I’m sitting out on this election. Anyone who advocated a policy like McCain-Feingold, doesn’t deserve my vote.
