Photobucket Illustration of how the 727's rear airstair was used by Cooper to effect his escape. The airstair had not been designed for deployment in flight and was gravity-operated, meaning it fell open and stayed that way until the aircraft landed.

Well, it’s obvious he’s dead. The gif shows he was crushed when he hit the capital “ I “ in the word “Illustration”.
