I'm not "settling" for anyone. But neither do I pin my hopes on a vanity candidate who has no idea how to run a national campaign, nor any apparent plan on how to overcome the other obstacles in his way.
Hunter's failure to recognize and properly respond to these problems indicates that he is not prepared for the job, even if by some crazy happenstance he manages to land into it.
