The LDS church leaders have not commented on Romney’s abortion stance because they do not make any political statements. Abortions are an abomination and I say that as a moral statement, not a political one.

Is it the position of the LDS church that that is a political statement, or your own interpretation, UMB? One would agree with Graybeard that "Abortions are an abomination and I say that as a moral statement, not a political one."
