blam, this is being discussed on our archaeology listserver, and, when I did a search for "eighth Wonder" I found it had already been posted here on FR. Didn't see your name on the thread so...consider yourself pinged!

It's striking, but, it's all modern. In fact, the girl in this photo looks like she was the model for the girl on the left end of the arch (with the big toes touching the back of her neck...)
