That's one entire FARAD? Geeezzzzzzz. That thing looks pretty small.

I've seen a few 1.0 F caps in these custom car stereo shops, where they add these huge caps so that the bass notes don't dim the headlights (seriously). But those are about the size of a quart of milk. At only 12 Volts DC, of course...

That thing looks MUCH smaller than that. Intersting times..........

Right. Caps have an equivalent series resistance(ESR), which determines the amount of current it can handle w/o heating up and exploding. The smaller caps always have a higher ESR, than the larger ones.
