This is absurd. I’m too socially conservative to vote for Rudy over Thompson, McCain, Romney, or even Huckabee, but going after Rudy’s knees is ridiculous. He has a right to run in the GOP primary and people have a right to support him. I may not like his personal life and pro-gay, pro-abort stances, but if it comes down to him or the Hildebeast, I’ll be working overtime to defeat her.

Then you would willingly aid and abet a Liberal coup of the GOP in addition to the already, then lost, election?

That is the antithesis of forwarding the Conservative movement. I will have no part in making 2008 worse in a Rudy911 vs. Hitlery matchup. I will accept that a Liberal must be President, and work to salvage the GOP for four years. The alternative is unthinkable.

Then, you'll end up doing more damage to conservatism and the country than if you voted for Hillary.

Giuliani is far more likely to get liberal legislation passed than Hillary. Republicans will lose seats with Giuliani in office while gaining seats if Hillary assumes office.

I'd much rather relive the Clinton years -- where Republicans regained Congress, liberal legislation was halted and during which we got a balanced budget and welfare reform -- than Nixon years, where a liberal Republican presided over a shrinking Republican minority.
