True, but hey, after 7 years Bush and the GOP is finally getting tough on the budget. Maybe there is hope this election cycle, but the real question is what the heck went on the last seven years? The GOP is finally getting back to their roots of social and economic conservatism, too bad they had to become the minority party before they do this.

I read yesterday from a left-wing pundit who said exactly the opposite, that the election was the Democrat’s to take or lose, but that the DEmocrats are really good at losing.
