Bush has been a disappointment on spending and immigration, but please don’t forget his record on appointing conservative judges to the Supreme Court. That, and the War on Terror, will be his lasting imprint on history and how his conservative credentials will reverberate.

Their “Children's National Socialist Medical Plan” attack on Republicans not caring about “chillins” will not work again. Point out that illegals are covered to age 24, along with every other welfare hog... that today over 130,000 adults in NJ are covered under this program in it’s present form... and millions will get waivers in the future... it will be a no sale... no thanks!

Big deal. Bill Krystal is a comedian. Bill Kristol is a pundit. There is a difference.

I can't stand this guy. I will say, having suffered some of a Democrat debate, their field makes Gore and Kerry look like first class choices!
It doesn't matter much. It's Hillary vs. whoever the autocratic GOP party elite decide whose turn it is.

Your right the GOP has lost the Presidential election twice in the past 40 years. Both times thanks to Vestal Virgin Conservatives sticking it to the Party.

The Democratic party has been taken over by kooks.
Where I live... the electorate has been taken over as well.
Here too (VA, MD, and DE). The Media is a powerful, powerful thing, despite bloggers, and they want to keep it that way.
As a parttime comm college instructor I see it every day.

The Media is a powerful, powerful thing...It works exceptionally well when people aren't paying attention... and have a limited knowledge of history and identity.

Is there a PING list for the VA General Assembly elections in November? It sounds like a good test for the R’s on Illegal Immigration and may be real revoke of RINOISM!

I listened to a show called Jerry Doyle late last night and he really lambasted the Democrats, especially Nancy Pelosie and Hairy Reid on this lame debate.
I do not understand just where the current Republican party is coming from or what they actually stand for in politics.
There seems to be no real leader at the helm guiding the Republicans about responses to these outrages comments by the Democrats.

“Big deal.

Before you cast too many stones, I believe the person you referred to as Bill Krystal is actually spelled Billy Crystal.
I don’t care too much about misspellings or bad grammar on web boards. We know who the poster meant.

The WaPo gave you Webb; I watched them destroy John Warner’s campaign day-by-day. Mark Warner could lose easily to Tom Davis unless he gets super-tough on illegals. This is still a RED state, and the November’s election should prove that.

I read yesterday from a left-wing pundit who said exactly the opposite, that the election was the Democrat’s to take or lose, but that the DEmocrats are really good at losing.
