Unfortunately one barber I go to has such a bad “case of nerves” he can’t keep a straight razor steady. But he insists on using it. The other gave up on straight razors he’ll only use electric clippers and scissors now.

THey had one of those shops in Annapolis, too. And while you waited for your cut, the brought you wine and cigars. $50 for the haircut, and the wine was $20 per glass. I have no idea about the cigar cost.
No, I didn’t go there, but when I was a waiter at TGIFridays in the same strip mall, several of my regulars talked about the place.

I’m not bashing Rush but he’s more into pop culture than politics anymore. Seems to me that when he doesn’t do show prep he relies in FR and Drudge and just wings it. He rarely covers ME topics any more.

He used to do much the same before Drudge- but then it was taking items off the front page of USA Today, the WSJ, the New York Post. A coworker of mine could predict what Rush would say with uncanny skill.

The difference is that when he takes something off USA Today, NY Times, or Washington Post, he would put a new slant on it and it would be interesting. But when he grabs it from Drudge, he really doesn’t have any more to say about it - he just reads it and laughs about it.
Although I have to admit that his comment about the Harvard drug research was hiliarious. He doesn’t want this drug that helps you forget your painful memories because he might end up re-marrying his ex-wife.
