Efforts to shore up the European wine industry by tearing out thousands of acres of vineyards and scrapping some subsidies have set the stage for a fierce debate Wednesday as Europeans contemplate the cost of their love affair with the grape.

Apparantly this sentence makes sense to the people who work at the New York Times. LOL.

They need to use the grapes for bio fuel. Brandy based automobiles. Introduce them to every large French city. The brandy residue in the exhaust will work to keep the French populace happy, and act to repel the Muslim invaders who cannot but help inhale the smog and thus violate the Muslim tenants that prohibit the enjoyment of alchol. Advertise the fact heavily in Muslim areas, invite them to save their souls by moving home.
