What I see are individuals taking advantage of weaknesses and strengths in our respective healthcare systems. The Canadians are able to negotiate low prices for common prescription drugs (*), whereas the Americans have a wide array of medical procedures available fairly quickly (**).
(*) But if you need a fairly new drug, too bad.
(**) At fairly high cost. The Assistant VP of Marketing for the insurance firm needs her BMW, that Trial Lawyer needs his Jacuzzi, and that doctor needs a new titanium driver.
