Have you read the thread? Not all the posters who got it were long time posters. Some asked for it in request, some in defiant belligerent behavior, some were retreads, some were newb trolls.

There were many that got it that got it for the reasons they would have got it on any other thread. It just so happened that it was here.

These are delicious. They have a rich, almost childish peanut buttery taste. Their sweetness is soporific. Eat one and your blood pressure will drop. Eat a few more and you will forget your outrage and your mean thoughts. Stuff down a last half dozen. That will quickly send you off to HappyHappyDreamLand!

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix butter, sugar and peanut butter together. Add eggs, flour, baking soda and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly. Spoon dough onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
