I suppose I should clarify and not encourage this stuff to go out onto other threads. I was thinking that it would just sorta stop, now that most of the rage has been vented. I think that thread nanny over there is pretty wise not to want all this venom start spilling into their favorite threads.

I kind of agree,
but for a long time Freepers
with an agenda

all their own haven't
thought twice about hijacking
threads to vent their views.

I don't really care
where such people blow their stack
and bite the big one.

They can't all be swayed
into posting in this thread
where it's convenient . . .

I kinda suspect this thread will be around for a while yet ... though the ban-fest portion of it is winding down.

And to think ... in the wee hours of last Tuesday morning, when I was jabbering with other posters on this thread about southern living and Alabama football ... I thought we were just borrowing the tail end of a dying thread.
