Wow! I never thought about the can of worms that could open up within the legal system.

Makes you wonder what was behind that proposal to begin with.

When you consider the length of trials, and charges of statutory rape, it would be quite a legal mess (not to mention the potential loopholes).

Better to just come down on the side of the unalienable right of the child to live, regardless of how he was conceived.
