Elyse, perhaps you would be so kind as to read through this thread and read the comments made regarding this situation. Also, please feel free to read my posting history regarding Rudy Giuliani. It is NOT absurd to ask someone who is persistently pinging you to rude comments, lies and other unworthy things to stop pinging you. Comment=a ping.
Requesting someone to not ping/post comment to you is not unheard of on this forum.
Pinging is one thing, posting is another. In the post I commented on you didn’t mention pinging. I don’t think that you can tell someone not to post a comment in reply to one of your comments. You also can’t stop someone from pinging you to a thread when they are talking about your post to another poster because people are expected to do that whether you want to be pinged or not.
I would consider it harrassment if someone was continually pinging you to theads that you haven’t posted in and where no one is talking about you, though.
