You’re missing the point. When I say he’s outta here, I’m saying that I as a human being and free citizen totally and absolutely reject him from any consideration whatsoever as a candidate for the presidency. And it’s because he stands against everything I hold dear and is associated with and lobbies for the very socialist groups and causes that are trying to deprive me of my liberty. He represents the domestic enemy within.

I also extend that rejection to Free Republic. This entity, this pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-country, pro-Liberty conservative forum and conservative activist organization will not be involved in supporting a liberal pro-abort, pro-gay, pro-socialist, anti-liberty candidate for the presidency. Period.

Now, as I suspected when this first started cropping up a couple months ago, there will be a certain number of people who cannot or will not understand why a pro-abort liberal candidate from the GOP is so detestable and repugnant to be rejected out of hand, and so they will probably get upset and leave FR. I can’t help that. FR will never support him and, in fact, will work to see that as many people as possible have an opportunity to view the ugly truth about the man in his own words and deeds.

I don’t know what is so complicated about tearing him down at this forum in the routine course of things. It could be done.

It had to be right this damn minute. Preferably a couple of weeks or months ago, I guess.

I understand you’re willing to accept the damage from that. I just don’t know what to think about it. Some people are giving high fives, others are wondering what the heck is going on.

If it is so obvious that Rudy is opposed to everything this forum stands for, wouldn’t that come out over the upcoming weeks?

Wouldn’t the vast majority of our posters come to that conclusion after seeing the facts?

Heck, the majority of Freepers here seem to support a couple of candidates who aren’t even in the race. I’m one of them.

I probably won’t support Rudy in the primary, but it really depends on who my choices are. I won’t know that for months. Why this crisis has been forced on FR in April is something I can’t understand.

Who are you for? Can we get a positive direction here?

Or is this forum going to be negative for the next year and a half? It’s a serious question.

I’m just a lurker really. I’ve never gotten involved in any of the personal fights, and I am as unknown here as could be.

But I am not out of touch.

I know who the trolls are (were) and I know who the real conservatives are.

I’m just coming out to say GOD BLESS YOU for this spring cleaning.

It was way over due and I like I am sure MANY have avoided posting about God and Country because of those former troublemakers never debated, they just got personal and nasty.

As Sam Adams said, it doesn’t take a majority, just an irate minority to set fires.

And sometimes those fires are for evil ends.... they did.

They nearly burned this site to the ground chasing off real conservatives and making it miserable for those who dared to stay and fight them.

But that’s no longer the sad case on FR any more and I am THRILLED to see what I am seeing now.

So I just wanted to say it, to be on record, to add my one small voice to the growing cry of Liberty...
