A Google search told me that you said someone had posted that comment to you "the day before" on 2/16. I just looked through the Giuliani-related threads you posted on 2/15 until I found it.

Well, watching this thread has been like watching a train wreck. It reminds me of why I have been avoiding all of the candidate-related threads as best I can. They tend to descend into needless name calling on all sides and aren't very pretty.

The election is over eighteen months away. It's way to premature for me to even know who will GET on the primary ballot in New York, let alone who I will vote for. Our ballot access laws are so convoluted that absent a federal lawsuit, only a handful of those who have announced their candidacy will be on it.

One thing I do try to remember is President Reagan's Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican. Chances are that whoever the Republican nominee ends up being will be more conservative than the Democrat, even if he is not ideal.
