Thank you ... and with respect to Dr. Keyes ... one of the saddest indications of liberal/RINO inroads to this site is the way this fine man has been an object of ridicule and scorn by some posters.

Keyes may be a lousy politician (I didn't follow the Illinois debacle that closely) ... and I know his remarks on reparations riled some people ... but he is perhaps the most eloquent spokesman for conservative values I have ever heard.

I'll never forget seeing him deliver a no-holds-barred pro-life message to a convention of Perot-ites. His presentation was so winsome and persuasive that he received an enthusiastic standing ovation from that pro-choice crowd.

For anyone who holds to the stated purpose of this site, Alan Keyes deserves nothing but respect.

That's a really great story. I've seen similar events myself. His abilities are truly amazing.

Of course I acknowledge they were bullies. With liberal bullies one can fight back and attack them on their political beliefs. With conservative bullies, one can only attack them for being bullies.
