Reagan signed what at the time was the most liberal expansion of abortion in this country. We got two pro abort Supreme Court judges too.

But it’s what they do, attack other conservatives for having policies that are like Rudy’s.
It’s like they don’t WANT anybody to support their candidate. If you even TRY to support one of his policies, they are as likely as not to attack you for it the next time you post anything they don’t like.

I love that picture. Rush to the right of Arnold, Rudy to the left.
How appropriate.
To: Peach
“On social issues, Rudy is liberal. On everything else, hes a conservative.”
That simply isn’t true. Even when we Conservatives were defending him when the media decided they had to remove him (before 9/11), we knew he was anti-conservative.
Peach you have some conservative ideas, but you are no conservative.

I’m hoping I didn’t need a sarcasm tag for that last post, but on this thread maybe I better add one, so no one does get me confused with a real Rudy supporter.

Im a newbie, so Im just speculating, but I think the old-timers, some of them, were more scared of clinton than anything, and we see that even now when they will sell their soul just to beat her.You really shouldn't post stuff like that; it shows your ignornace of what went on during the Clinton administration.

I'm waitin' Ms Peach.
Tell us some more how Reagan was Pro Abortion.
Tell us again how he signed "the most liberalized abortion bill in the history of the Country at that time"
Equate that to your support of that abortion encouraging so called Republican.

I’d respond if your post made sense. But since it doesn’t, I’ll just let it stand.

"To summarise, he's strong on terror because he employed more cops than the next 4 cities combined just to get a 20% better crime rate, he kicked Arafat out of a theater in a pique of authoritarian rage, he watched the towers fall, and he made a good speech."I agree with your well reasoned post. Many people would have handled the aftermath of 9/11 as well or better than Rudy. It is ludicrous that the above actions translate into Rudy will fight the WOT better than any other Republican.

When Romney went up a couple of points in the polls, they threw a bunch of stuff about a speech he gave in Florida that was misleading.
When Thompson came on board and started getting poll traction they started with the “he’s mormon” and “he’s a lobbyist” and “he gave money to clinton” and “he’s a DC politician”, a “career politician”, and “a globalist”.
SOmetimes they go after people with no movement, like Hunter.

So a 9 year freeper in good standing asks Jim if he prefers Hillary to Rudy and he gets banned and you think that’s justified? Wow.

To: Verax; Peach; M. Thatcher
He supported abortion including partial birth abortion as a constitutional right during his coming out party on Hannity and Colmes just a couple months ago. It’s in the transcript. And he repeated it just a week ago and added the tidbit that since abortion is a constitutional right, poor women should be entitled to taxpayer funded abortions. He also says that many people won’t agree with him and probably should not vote for him. (He shouldn’t worry about that.) Peach’s claims of recent moderation notwithstanding, he appears to be an unabashed, unashamed, unafraid abortionist and proud of it. (of course, our conservative friend M. Thatcher never saw or heard any of that).
