"The Serbs were our allies in WWII."
..."So were Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia"

Not really.

Iran was very pro-Nazi during WW2, to appeal to Hitler, Persia changed its name to Iran, which in Farsi literally means "Land of the Aryans". The Soviet Union and Britain invaded and toppled the government of Resa Shah.

Iraq was a vassal of Britain. But showed it's true loyalties with a pro-Nazi coup, which was forcefully crushed by the British. And I'm pretty sure SA was neutral.

The Serbs on the other hand were the only people to openly resist Hitler before it was clear that he would be defeated. I'm convinced more then ever, that we bombed the wrong side in Kosovo.

Among Japanese contacts with Saudi Arabia before World War II can be cited contacts that included an official visit to Japan to attend the opening in 1938 of a mosque in Yoyogi, Tokyo, and the 1939 visit to Saudi Arabia by Japanese envoy to Egypt Yokoyama, who had an audience with King Ibn Sa'ud.

The Saudis Aremained officially neutral through the war but did provide the Allies with large supplies of oil, which had been discovered in Saudi Arabia in 1938. Despite resenting the British and French colonial presences in the Middle East, Ibn Saud was a personal friend of Franklin D. Roosevelt, who made a personal presentation of a Royal Wheelchair during a 1945 visit to the kingdom. Saudi Arabia remained on favourable terms with the Allies through the war, but also kept its options with the Axis open.
