As bad as Carlito Hagel is on this issue, he is even worse on illegal immigration. Hagel will do or say anything to get favorable CNN coverage. His 'bipartisan' lovefest TV appearances with Joe Biden are really tough to stomach.

The people of Nebraska should welcome him home to real America with an embarrassing defeat in any primary hereafter held to restore their state to its former glory and greatness.

Most of the population of Nebraska shows up in Lincoln on game days. They constitute very devoted fans of the Cornhuskers, and are a classy group, even when the Big Red of the South shows up to play.

I'm sure that they will turn Chuck Hagel back to farming in the next election.

Maybe Hagel is suffering from Lincoln Chaffee syndrome. Someone told him he is a Republican and he believed it rather than examining his values are realizing they are closer to the Dems than the GOP.

I would love that ticket too, but know Cheney has said he does not want to run for President. He has served many years and wants to spend time with his grandchildren and go fishing more. Can't blame him, but wish he would change his mind.
