Sgt. Beiner currently taking an operational pause--blister repair.
I'll be looking for him soon....when he gets to East Windsor....got my longjohns on and ready to join him for a few miles through Hightstown!
Anyone know if he's on schedule, ahead or behind??
Sgt. Breiner's walking in to the wind. It's slowing his progress
Update: About twenty minutes behind schedule. A few people walking with him. Three chase cars.

Hi Kristinn
I just went out and looked for myself....best way, right?? At 12:30 they were about 7 miles east of the East Windsor line (and Mercer County line, too) which puts them about 9 miles east of the NJ Tpke exit 8, if anyone is planning to come down here to cheer them on...that's the best place to be....right off the exit there's a motel where you can park.
There is a very strong headwind, and they are carrying flags, so that must be very hard. But, they are persevering and I plan to join them when they get to Twin Rivers Drive North and Rt 33.
Thank you!
Update....they are about 3 miles east of here, now. There was a News 10 crew with them when I passed. I think the wind is giving them a hard time, but once they get to Hightstown, it will be much easier.....more shelter from the wind and more to see...and be seen!!
Cassville volunteer fire department in Jackson Township saluted Sgt. Breiner in dress uniforms and with their ladder truck displaying the American and POW/MIA flags.
Saw that......going out to check their progress again
Bless our heroes.
Live radio being what it is, let's hope the cell phone is charged, the fatigue factor is minimal, the wind noise isn't tremendous and the cell reception is strong.

Hey all, this thread has live progress reports. Sorry for the late notice. I just got notice of it myself.
[Mr] T
Sgt. Breiner is 2.3 miles from the State House in Trenton--under an hour to go.
Hi All
Sorry I didn't get back before this, but I had to leave the walk to go to my daughter's for her birthday dinner.
I met up with Sgt Breiner and the group on rt 33 and TRDN about 3PM. They were about an hour behind schedule, which, considering the wind, and his blisters, was not too bad. There were about a half dozen people with him at that time: family and friends.
As we walked to Hightstown, cars passing by were honking and giving us a thumbs up....it made Craig realize that he was not alone.....that there were many out there supporting him and the troops.
When we got to the Days Inn, about a half miles east of Hightstown, Dr. Raoul met up with us and talked to Craig for a few minutes.
We walked into Hightstown and I sent them on their way, having to bail out at the post office, to go to my daughter's.
So I was with them for about 3 miles and wish I could have gone further. I don't know how the rest of the walk went because I just now have gotten back home. But I am so glad that I did that much!!
It truly was all my pleasure!
