Pelosi: 43% Have Favorable Opinion of New House Speaker

Forty-three percent (43%) of Americans have a favorable opinion concerning the nation's new Speaker of the House. The first woman to serve in that role, Nancy Pelosi (D) earns favorable reviews from 45% of women and 41% of men. A Rasmussen Reports survey of 800 Likely Voters found that, overall, 39% have an unfavorable opinion of the Speaker.
Those numbers reflect a significant improvement for Pelosi since November. At that time, just 24% had a favorably opinion of her while 40% held an unfavorable view.
Pelosi's predecessor, Dennis Hastert (R), was viewed favorably by 24% of Americans at the time his party lost control of Congress. In December, just 11% of Americans gave the outgoing Congress good or excellent reviews.
Sixty-six percent (66%) of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Pelosi. Sixteen percent (16%) have an unfavorable opinion while 18% are not sure.
Among Republicans, just 17% have a favorable person of the woman in charge of the people's House. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 41% offer a favorable assessment.
Pelosi is viewed as politically liberal by 52% of Americans and moderate by 22%. Just 5% consider her conservative and 20% are not sure.

And she believes in abortion on demand, a staunch supporter of gay marriage, wants to raise our taxes in every opportunity she has, wants to create as large number of people who are on welfare and hence get their votes, etc…. and all the destructive ideas of being a left wing liberal from the San Francisco.
I caught the "highlights" of Her Majesty's maiden speech on the news last night. I'd note that she has an irritating habit of pointing and shaking her index finger as if she's scolding schoolchildren instead of addressing a free and sovereign people. I suspect she will not wear well.

Sorry I forgot that she wants us defeated in Iraq by cutting and running from there, she wants to give a bill of right to the terrorists, and she hates President Bush and Republicans more than she hates the terrorists.
I'd like to know what on earth they find favorable about her! Certainly not her policies.. could they just love her laugh? LOL!

They act like it's a good number, but when Bush has that number, he's an abyssmal failure according to the MSM.

I guarantee you that she will not wear well. During the last 4 weeks of the 2006 campaign she went into hiding with all the democrat leadership so voters will not see how radically left wing liberal she and her democrat colleagues are. Now she has nowhere to run, people will see her and she will be destroyed.

They were never the Browns in Baltimore. They are a whole new organization. At least Art Modell had the class to leave the Browns name, logo and history with the city of Clevelan and also voted favorably and lobbied for the NFL to expand back to Cleveland. Cleveland did not have to wait for 12 years. The Browns have a rich history like the Colts. The Irsay family has no such sensitivity.
