Ahh ....

Poynter Institute for Media Studies.

Just a smidge shy of being on par in its bias as CJR. I often go to its website http://www.poynter.org/ and read what the media talking heads are saying and thinking.

Once there you must read the Romenesko column http://www.poynter.org/column.asp?id=45. Read the letters and feedback to Romenesko as well. If you did not think a majority of the media had a leftward tilt, I doubt you would be able to deny it once you have read this section. What they wont say in print is often admitted, nay, proclaimed in these letters and feedbacks.

Its eye opening to say the least.
