The sweet old couple who live behind us, nursing serious health problems of their own, lost their only daughter on November 7th, after a long, painful struggle with cancer.
The little old lady across the street went to hospital last night by ambulance, all alone, because my husband couldn't leave me, and her only daughter wouldn't break away from her holiday dinner party.
So just on my street alone, and without even considering how much your sweet notes mean to me, I count myself one lucky woman.
