Earlier in the day, White House aides scrambled to come up with alternative travel arrangements after Air Force One suffered six flat tires upon Bush's arrival. A malfunction in the aircraft's braking system overheated the tires, which caused their values to blow out.
The safety feature is intended to prevent a more dangerous tire blow out. Air Force mechanics fixed the problem in time for Bush's departure. The president was scheduled to layover in Hawaii Monday night before returning to Washington Tuesday.
Excuse me, but how exactly do you think President Bush and the US led coalitions could expect the cooperation of Islamic governments (like Iraq and Afghanistan for example) if he made blanket condemnations of ALL Muslims and Islam itself?
I don't need your permission to think as I please. Instinct, sometimes, is the only thing one can depend on.

With six tires blown – two in shreds, we're told – the crew of the venerable presidential aircraft went hat in hand to the United press charter accompanying the president on this trip for spares. We're told, but this could be a little grayer, that Air Force One only carries a couple of spares. The president's aircraft is a 747-200, and the charter is a more recent 747-400. And guess what? They don't use the same tires.

We need allies, and we don't get them by trashing them or their religion. Turkey is also an islamic country. While they were less than helpful in the inititial invasion, they have not caused us problems in Iraq.
The movie "Obsession" has many muslims openly accusing radicals and those "moderates" that turn away from reality and allow radicals to kill innocents. He speaks of muslims that have turned in terrorists inside of the US and thwarted attacks on innocent Americans.
LLS is right. Yep, al Qaeda is evil. So is the Mahdi Army and the Badr Brigade. So is Hezbollah. So is the Iranian government. There are lots of Muslim terrorists who wish to see anything western destroyed.
They are not the majority. They just make the most noise. Most Muslims hate the terrorists as much as we do. Many American lives here have been saved because of locals risking their own lives to rat out the terrorists.
But CNN doesn't want poeple to know about that, so most people simply refuse to accept it.
My wife doesn't even keep up with the news but she's been praying a lot lately for the President's protection. Since I can post this semi-anomyously, she told me as she was praying she saw a target over him.
