Not so bad really... Rummy is getting to be an old man and cant blame him for all the crap they through at him. Bush needs to appoint a younger military like man. Hope Gen. Tommy Franks would take the position. We need him badly now.
Age isn't the issue. What Sec Rumsfeld did was throw out the WWII model of warfare and try to move our military into a new era. He was fought every single step of the way by the left, which loathes the military, and by republicans pandering to the left.
There's no way any war can be won when we can't even "offend" the enemy. Rummy was being forced to follow the democrats politically correct war strategy. That's the only reason we haven't won this war already.
