Iraq is the reason Republicans got nailed. Start accepting the fact that Iraq IS a mess, and if it's not cleaned up in one year, a democrat will be the next President.
BINGO! This election is a referendum on GWB and the War in Iraq...thinking anything to the contrary is only kidding oneself.
There's nothing factual about the utter success that is Iraq and Afghanistan. Then again, some of us are aware how difficult combatting terrorism is, while the others are the ones shrieking "failure! failure!"
It isn't a total mess. Things were looking up. Now it will become a mess because the rats' victory IS the terrorists' victory. They will really become emboldened.
Same thing happened in Spain, Italy and Great Britain. They will see as weak now. If we get hit again I blame the traitorous press more than anyone.
