Problem is the religious branch of the part won't tolerate anyone who is libertarian. Just seems that way to me. If you say you are for embryonic stem cell research on this forum you are flamed within an inch of your life. I think this really hurt us at the polls.

You are correct. This board is, and really should be classified as, not a conservative forum, but a religious conservative forum. There are other places for more libertarian viewpoints - Free Republic is not it.

So? If I wander onto DU proclaiming I'm pro life, you won't hear me whining about being "flamed." Boo frickin' hoo.
If you're for killing babies to advance research, so be it. Try sticking up for your position instead of whining about it.

If you truly think that the liberal-tarians are the core of the GOP, then why did the Dems pull out Foley in October to scare of the religious conservatives? Answer: Because the numbers o liberal-tarians in the GOP are negligible--almost irrelevant. There just happen to be a lot of you on Free Republic.
