Apparently a lot of Republicans crossed party lines to vote for Dems in general. But, hey, this is what we've got, so this is what we deal with.

They had a lot of people stay home this year. And, don't forget that:

1) The state has elected Democrats in the last 2 Gov. races

2) Webb has a ton of support in NOVA which is right next to DC and received the benefit of the WAPO campaigning for him.
