Yeah, and I witnessed the takeoff for one of 'em, at Frankfurt last year. Big hulking monster, with a tail twice as big as it seems it should be, and they must've been having a sale on wheels when they designed the beast. Stubby and un-svelte, unlike their other planes, which tend to be lovely, especially the sleek A340. The disproportionately small windshield and egg-shaped facial profile gives it an unfortunate porcine look, and the fuselage is about 20% too short. The Andrea Dworkin of the skies. Took off right smartly, though.
