I'll bet that with a few well-placed phone calls I could get Sy embedded as a reporter with one of our units in Iraq. Think he would accept??

Yeah. "Murderous" doesn't apply, but I definitely HOPE they are violent to the enemy. That is the main point of the military, IMO.

Then the men in white coats arrived and took Sy gently by the elbow and escorted him back to the asylum.

Remember, as a 'RAT girlyman, Seymour Hersh's definition of "violent and murderous" is a lot different and a lot kinkier than that of most normal human beings.

Notice that Sy Hersh' speech occurred simultaneously with Kerry's slamming of the troops.

This was undoubtedly coordianted.

and those terrorists are so gentle... cutting heads off with dull, rusted knives is like a hot knife going through butter eh?

blowing cars up next innocent bystanders turning them into mince meat is less destructive?

They always seem to say this stuff in front of college/university students - that's their playground, their home turf. These intellectual elites are those who have figured out how to close their mind by simply disagreeing with common sense and embarking on a "bold, new approach..." it was all tried in Germany in the 1920s and in the US in the 1960s. So, we had a world war, a cold war, and now a culture war... the fruits of this pseudo-intellectualism.

Walter Duranty and Seymour Hersh don't give the Pulitzer Prize a lot of street cred.

Good. I hope just the thought of our military makes peebrains like Hersch and anyone who'd threaten an American wet themselves with fright.
