PING....COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY....Post #87
BTTT
Tuesday, October 17, 2006:
Diana attended a meeting with the Editorial Board of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The meeting was to be an interview with Diana Irey to assist the paper in determining who they would endorse, Diana Irey or John Murtha.
Diana was once again reminded that the self-described "party of tolerance" were only interested in injecting THEIR views on her, not to learn about her and her views. The Murtha bias was apparent from the first onslaught.
(No need to wait with bated breath to see who the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will endorse.)
Diana returned to Headquarters to continue making fundraising calls.
(YOU can help send Diana to Congress by donating here!)
After giving me a brief description of the days events, Diana was out the door to get ready for the West Moreland County Christian Coalition Dinner/Meeting. All the candidates were to speak for a few minutes.
I will give you the details of this meeting in my next edition of the
"IREY DIARY"
Today, Wednesday, Diana will be attending public meetings most of the day.
Comments in italics are my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the candidate or the campaign.
WooHoo!!! 20 days to go!
"IREY DIARY"
GREAT POST, JUSTA! and a great idea to have a daily report on the activities of Mrs. Irey.
I'll be looking forward to this every day and am sure many others will also.

To the Editor,
John Murtha's message is quite clear: John Murtha should not quit. America's military should quit fighting and American Veterans who served honorably should quit defending what they believe in.
John Murtha is a Congressman if any military personnel are accused of a crime, Congress has an obligation to protect them. John Murtha did not protect our troops. Murtha used his faulty, fabricated, self serving intelligence to charge them with crimes and convict them in advance of any due process of law.
John Murtha has made it clear that he does not care about our military personnel that he has wrongfully accused of crimes. John Murtha did not care about what was said about the men under his command in Vietnam when they were accused of similar crimes.
Congressman John Murtha through his actions and bizarre behavior is " no longer worthy " of the support of American military Veterans.
If Congressman John Murtha will not "quit", then it is the responsibility of the voters of the 12th Congressional District to "vote" him out of office.

Of perhaps passing interest, a beloved friend of mine couldn't spell the word "diary". So, on the National Lampoon, he wrote pieces such as the "The Dairy of Ann Frank" and "Guadalcanal Dairy". Cows figured large in these tales which made quite a difference from the originals.
Then he branched out to "Tarzan of the Cows". All this got him a job as head writer on Saturday Night Live. Life's a funny proposition after all.
Stong men tell it straight. Post of the day, smooth.
Excellent letter by Robert Greer, he's a veteran that Murtha hasn't fooled.
Stong men tell it straight. Post of the day, smooth.
