Come Out Pensacola! 2006

Wednesday through Oct. 15. Come Out Pensacola! is an annual series of events to celebrate the area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population and provide education and interaction with the overall community. With the exception of the Thursday night movie, all events in Bartram Park are family- and child- friendly. The events are sponsored by Gulf Coast TIDE (Together in Diversity and Equality).

Schedule of events

Wednesday

7 p.m.: National Coming Out Day Interfaith Worship Service at Bartram Park. Coordinated by the Rev. Ron Helms, president of Gulf Coast TIDE, the service is intended to be accessible and respectful for people of all faiths, religions or spirituality.

9 p.m.: "The Doors are Open!" Kickoff Party at Jack and Ron's Piano Bar, 104 S. Palafox St.
