The antioxidants in red wine will help prevent alzheimers. I am not a wine drinker but I'm willing to entertain drinking very high quality wine. I take ginkgo pills, lots of grape seed extract, etc. and I exercise and make sure my brain stays fresh with reading, puzzles, etc. I work with Alzheimer challenged people and it just motivates me to take care of myself now.

Also, I'll want it to be sulfite free. Sulfites give me headaches but wine with some nice food doesn't :-)

Actually, its more than likely that its the grape skins that are causing the beneficial effects. Eating grapes will likely give you the same effect(it's also proven that eating grapes gives you all the other effects of red wine(i.e. the thinning of blood/etc.)) If you don't like drinking then this is a way to get the benefits.
