When The Da Vinci Code was in production...we were denounced for criticizing a film before we had seen it. When we asked Ron Howard to put a disclaimer in the movie, we were condemned for disrespecting his artistic liberties. To top it off, we were told to lighten upits just a movie. But when everyone from Bill Clinton to the more than 100,000 protesters garnered by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) demand that ABC cancel The Path to 9/11, no one denounces them for criticizing a movie they havent seen. Moreover, they suffer no condemnation for tampering with artistic liberties. And no one tells them to lighten upthe refrain, its just a movie, is nowhere heard. The double standard is not the most upsetting aspect of this fiasco. Censorship is. Bill Clinton and the DNCs troops have every right to complain, but sitting government officials are a different animal altogether.

...or perhaps, "Poor (little) Clinton..."
The People's Demokratik Party did this to protect Comrade Kerry as well then the threatened Sinclair Broadcasting with lawsuits and such if they showed the POW documentary, Stolen Honor, Wounds That Never Heal.
It now appears to me that our First Amendment is moot unless their is something the People's Demokratic Party prefers, like a movie depicting the assasination of President Bush.
We are closer to being the Union of Socialist States of Amerika than many realize.
For those that plan on not voting to teach the Republicans a lesson, do so at our peril.
The intelechewels r betur than we uns.
I'm sorry, but I have a serious problem with "Path To 911" being termed simply "artistic". This is not art, this is reality .... the Twin Towers are no more, they have been 'no more' for five long years and I am sick and tired of those on the left playing these petty little games of parsing words about how it never happened and blah blah blah blah blah ...
While I didn't personally know anyone who was killed at Ground Zero on 9/11, I do know many people who either live or work in the area and who experienced firsthand the tumultuous events of that horrible day ... and lemme tell ya, there was nothing artistic about any of it
Please, Lefties .. save your cute little social games for your snooty Hors D'Overes cocktail parties and leave protecting America from the evils of the world to the adults.
/rant off
Yeah, I've heard that... Heh heh heh...
They sure think they are. What they are is only a couple of steps behind Hitler's henchmen. We find it hard to believe that things like that could happen here, but I believe it could, and these people are living proof. They are mentally ill, and our nation is in danger due to their mindset.
Very well stated.
(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )
Red, your tagline...should be "Clinton", not just the Left. Clinton is so obsessed with 'getting his' that he even throws his own party overboard. And, as evidenced by this exact week, he manages to continue to get them to rally around his big white @ss to ensure he doesn't lose any 'legacy' that he ill-gottenly gained
The bubba brigades are out in force. The end result does no good for the credibility of the dems or the media.
Path to 9/11 tells a sad, riveting tale~ ...is unsparing, and its viewpoint draws criticism
Looks like it's going to air after all.
