Technically, the UN isn't on US soil...

"The United Nations headquarters building was constructed in New York City in 1949 and 1950 beside the East River on land purchased by an 8.5 million dollar donation from John D. Rockefeller, Jr.. It is a declared international zone belonging to all Member States, and as such will survive in perpetuity, forever belonging to the Member States as an asset of the UN. However, as noted in the United Nations section, while it has some elements of sovereignty this land is considered to be part of the United States."
OK, according to "Wik", it's a part of the US.
I would love to see a NY press conference with John Bolton starting it, with Mayor Bloomberg at his side.
Bolton announces that the US is pulling out of the UN due to it's total inefectiveness and constant attempts to take away the sovereignty of the USA, and has sold the property, and the UN no has to "redeploy".
Mayor Bloomberg is then announced to say a few words to the press and delightledly welcomes the new owner to come to the stage: Donald Trump.
Trump comes on stage with the artist drawings of the new Trump Condo complex to be built on the site, and tells the former tenants that they have to vacate in 30 days, whereupon the demolition and new construction will begin.
.....just a thought....IMHO, a NICE one....
