Local officials estimate that as many as 3,500 illegal immigrants, many from Brazil, live in the town.

A quick search for Riverside, NJ showed a population of just under 8,000 in the 2000 census. So if that information is correct, then how can anyone palusibly argue that we are not being invaded? That's nearly half the population! Maybe someone with local knowledge of the area can help me out; I've never been down that way.

Yet it is only one town, and as you have mentioned, a small one at that. If an illegal moves to a settlement with population of one, then half of that place's population would be illegal, too.

However, illegal immigration should be stemmed, but the racist component of those against illegal immigration (a small component) should not be supported.

However, illegal immigration should be stemmed and staunched, but the racist component of those against illegal immigration (a small component) should not be supported.
