Local TV has shown the protest of the illegals as being made up of Confederate flag toting, heavily tattooed young white men and overweight shrieking women all screaming hateful language. It looks like the conclusion you are supposed to draw is that the quiet peaceful illegals are being harrassed by white trash haters. I don't know the truth, I wasn't there but I suspect the media is coloring the protestors negatively since those types of people are an oddity in these parts.
Personally, I don't blame the illegals for doing what they have to do to take care of their families. The blame lies with our both R & D representatives who have failed to give us a mechanism to allow these folks to work here but be accounted for and the bad apples removed.
