Sergeant Or Shahar from kibbutz Yad Mordechai, who was killed overnight by a Hizbullah mortar shell in the southeast Lebanese village of Nabi al-Awadi, was supposed to celebrate his 21st birthday Sunday.
A mood of heavy mourning was felt in the kibbutz he grew up on, as dozens of friends and neighbors arrived at his family's home to express their condolences.

5 rockets hit Ma'alot, Golan Heights; none wounded
At least five rockets were fired at northern Israel on Sunday morning, causing no injuries or damage.
Two rockets struck the Golan Heights and three landed near Ma'alot.

I read that story and you're right it was tragic.
I can't imagine what it's like to hear this day after day for weeks on end. Now and then during hurricane season I hear the warning sirens go off here and it scares the daylights out of me. Just imagine this chronic signal that potential havoc and death is on the way. And this is something the UN can't bring itself to call terrorism?
