Uh, soldiers, et.al. here in the USA take an oath to the USA, not a foreign country.

So I don't think you'll get many volunteers. That doesn't mean they're not "putting their money where their mouths are", that means they are loyal to the USA.

In case you haven't noticed, we are also fighting terrorism, on more than one front (and many fronts that are not in the news).

I have not and would not ask any American soldier to go against his Oath, his greater Oath to defend the citizens of his country, nor have I suggested he give up his citizenship to do so.
