This is just plain disturbing, from every angle. Some eyewitness reports talked about the continous bombing that is contradictory to the timing of the Israeli reports.

Someone doesn't have their facts straight. And really there's not a whole lot to be determined in any of this yet. Either way, there's a lot of dead women and children and either Hezbollah brought it on these civilians or they had a direct hand in it.

It does have a "Racack" like smell to it. Could it have been an accumulation of bodies from previous strikes? Maybe even murdered families of some opposed to hezbollah.

My question is why are there no survivors to interview?

Usually, in any group of 50 or 60 people, there will be a survivor or two that makes it through the carnage and building collapase. None here!

There are several possibilities:
1) The IDF strike killed every last one of them.
2) The IDF strike got most, the rest too badly injured to flee.
3) The IDF strike preceeded Hizbullah herding them into the building and blowing it up - giving a coup de grace to anyone that survived the blast.
4) They were all dead prior to being placed in the building and blowing it up.

Given Hamas's effective use of theatrics in Gaza, and the strange time lag, I vote for 3 or 4.

Yeah, and we know those truth tellers in the arab world, don't we?? Not like those lying Israelis. (rolling eyes)

Last sentence: The question remains whether honest men and women of other nationalities will let this likely lie stand or press for the revelation of the improbable and inconvenient truth.

IMPROBABLE?????? I'd say more PROBABLE.

Where's the proof there were nearly 60 dead bodies? Between the tapes I saw yesterday of the "victims" miraculously hoping off their stretchers alive and well not once but twice, and the "rescuers" and "villagers" being sparkling clean, and the posed pictures of the children I'm leaning toward this whole thing being a set up. Sure, there may be a few actual dead bodies thrown in for effect, the story isn't ringing true. Hezbollah is pulling a fast one.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Hzbullah blew up the building.

Amazing how the Lebanese Government said that Israel could NOT be involved in the investigation on their soil. I wonder why?

Oh well, that point may be moot when Israel captures the town in the next few days.
